Bassist and vocalist Gail Ann Dorsey spent close to two decades in David Bowie’s band. Her other steady gig, was with Lenny Kravitz. Gail has also worked with many other artists, including Boy George, Charlie Watts, Tears for Fears, Gang of Four, Jane Siberry, The National, and others.

Originally from Philadelphia, Gail studied film for a bit at Cal Arts, but dropped out to pursue a music career in New York. She then moved to London in the 1980s, where in 1998 she released her first album, The Corporate World. After having found some success as a solo artist, Gail quickly became an in demand session and touring bassist. She has continued work on her solo material, and it has become a primary focus now that Covid-19 has halted live music performances.
